GMHBA Stadium

Geelong

"Originally built in 1941, GMHBA Stadium is the heart and soul of Geelong and is home to the Geelong Cats."

A new name for the home of sport in Geelong – GMHBA Stadium. Originally built in 1941, GMHBA Stadium is the heart and soul of Geelong and is home to the Australian Football League (AFL) team, the Geelong Cats.

Recent venue upgrades have transformed GMHBA Stadium from a regional venue into a first-class multipurpose venue that can be adapted to suit a number of sports and events. An upgrade to the stadium lighting has also bolstered the venue’s capabilities, with AFL night games now also hosted at the Geelong venue.

GMHBA Stadium has a capacity of 36,000 and has played host to National A-League and W-League soccer, Super Rugby, Super Motorcycles and domestic first class cricket matches.
