Heritage Bank Stadium
Gold Coast
"Heritage Bank Stadium was a significant venue of the Gold Coast 2018 XXI Commonwealth Games."
Heritage Bank Stadium is home to the Gold Coast Suns, the Australian Football League (AFL) team, with the first official AFL match taking place at the venue in 2011.
While AFL is the major sport in operation at the Gold Coast venue, the 27,500 seat stadium has also hosted an abundance of other sporting events such as cricket, rugby and baseball, as well as major music events including the Big Day Out festival, which attracted over 34,000 and the Foo Fighters, who played to a crowd of over 37,000 in 2011.
O’Brien Group Australia has been working with Heritage Bank Stadium since day one to deliver a seamless customer experience through its many bars, restaurants and functions spaces.
O’Brien Group Australia was also part of the Gold Coast 2018 XXI Commonwealth Games at Heritage Bank Stadium when it became the principle venue hosting the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and all Athletic events.
